Diana’s bridal session at Las Colinas and the Stoneleigh Hotel

mist Photography just shot the super fun wedding of  Diana and Chris over the weekend, and we’re excited that we can now show you photos from Diana’s bridal session!  The dress was from the amazing Stardust Celebrations bridal boutique, the backdrop two distinct locations to give us a variety of images to choose from.  We started at the Canals at Las Colinas since we wanted to capture the outdoors and natural scenery of the area.  We then moved to a more urban setting, with the gorgeous Stoneleigh Hotel providing the perfect ambiance.  We just love shooting in this uptown hotel!

Diana’s full tulle skirt showed beautifully in the photos! Here we are at the Canals enjoying the outdoor scenery.

Diana was a joy to shoot, as you can see from these images!

A rose among roses

We are absolutely in love with the Stoneleigh! The art deco furniture is one of a kind to Dallas.

The Grand Salon – perfect location for photos!

Red walls and zebra designed carpet…need we say more?

Diana ended up choosing this photo as a large print for display at the reception – the dress, the smile, the decor: everything just fell into place with this image!

And you all know how much we love our back shots..this photo was also chosen as a large print for display.  And we couldn’t agree more!

We will be sharing photos soon from Chris and Diana’s wedding at The Tower Club.  Stay tuned!

The photos from Stephanie and Bruce’s ceremony and reception are now online!  To view the images, please click HERE.

On our previous post, we had highlighted Stephanie and Bruce’s wedding at the Tower Club.  The following evening, the couple held a reception for friends and family at the Nasher Sculpture Center.   Set amidst the gardens and larger than life sculptures, the evening was a feast to the senses.  Meredith Strode of the Nasher did an amazing job coordinating the event, and food catered by Wolfgang Puck was exceptionally executed.  This was such a sophisticated celebration, and we were honored to be a part of it!  We’d like to share with you key moments from the evening.

The table setting was simply gorgeous. It was understated and beautiful at the same time.

We love how the setting sun cast its light on the cake.

Guests were greeted by these playful table place holders as they entered the Nasher.

Stephanie’s daughter was gracious enough to greet the guests as they came in.  We really love the simplicity of this photo.

Stephanie and her equally stunning bridesmaids.  These dresses are one of the best we’ve ever seen – so elegant and sophisticated!

Stephanie and her daughter share a happy moment amidst the gardens of the Nasher.  Stephanie’s dress was simply amazing. Beautifully designed and executed!

The girls heading to the dance floor to enjoy the live band!

First up we cut the cake, and what a lovely cake it was.

We just love ring shots, don’t you?

The first dance

This photo just shows how happy Stephanie and Bruce are.  One of our favorites from the evening.

And let the party begin!! Stephanie’s daughter hamming it up for the camera, and the camera loves her!!

Fun times everywhere!

Thank you Stephanie and Bruce for such a beautiful celebration.  We wish you all the happiness in the world!

Wonderful couple Stephanie and Bruce recently tied the knot and mist Photography was so honored to be a part of their wedding.  Everything was perfect, the wedding a symbol of sophistication and most importantly, great fun!  Here are the images that stood out, clearly showing how beautiful the festivities were.

Champagne and strawberries? Absolutely!  Stephanie and her bridesmaid having a toast before the ceremony held at the Tower Club.

Lovely bouquets of flowers dotted with crystals

The flower arrangements were just spectacular. We especially love this orchid piece.

Stephanie escorted by her father. She donned an amazing halter dress and these gorgeous platforms!

Bruce’s expression when Stephanie walked down the aisle was priceless

The celebrant was actually the couple’s Australian yoga instructor – yes, Stephanie and Bruce first locked eyes at each other on the yoga mat!

Ah the kiss. We will never get tired of this photo

The cake against the Dallas skyline – so delicious!

Stephanie’s aunts – yes all of them! sharing a toast

These small jeweled cases were the placecard holders for each guest. We thought it would be fun to use them with the wedding bands!

Stephanie’s daughters were just adorable.  We think they’ll be in show business very soon!  Here is one of the girls giving her speech

We love their expressions as they listen to family and friends give their speeches

The lovely couple expressing their thanks to loved ones

First dance as husband and wife

We saved the best for last, our favorite shot of the evening

Stephanie and Bruce had a separate reception at the Nasher Sculpture Center the following evening – we will be sharing images from that event soon!
